Who are you?

We are a metalwork workshop. We specialize in manufacturing copper and zinc decorative architectural elements. Our domain is the most difficult field of metalwork - the repoussage.

What is repoussage?

Repoussage - in short - is an antique sheet metal forming technique, in which a malleable metal is ornamented or shaped by manually hammering from the reverse side to create a design in low relief. Proficiency in this technique provides substantial elbow room regarding the realization of orders - thanks to this technique, we are able to chase copper or zinc into any product according to the customer's design: starting with a bowl, through roof spikes, ending on a human statue in a 1:1 scale.

What materials are your products made of?

All our products are made of copper and zinc sheets. This allows our work to gain a warm, copper colour, or a cold, steel tone of zinc.

What do you produce?

The lion's share of our work are the roof ornaments. We have years of experience in manufacturing gargoyles, we are producing all kinds of roof spikes, spires, pinnacles, weather vanes, compass roses and water tanks. However, the skills we possess allow us to perform any unusual custom order - we had already made royal crowns, occasional flowers, washbasins, door knockers, cooker hoods and chalices.

Does your work involve renovation of historical monuments?

Naturally. We have the knowledge and skills necessary for professional restoration of historical architectural elements made of copper, brass and zinc. We provide both preservation and - if necessary - a complete reconstruction of damaged elements. In 2012 we reconstructed 15 antique roof spikes and a three-meter tall roof spire at the Wroclaw Brochów railway station.

Can you design custom orders?

Of course - we can both design the product according to the customer's idea or have it made on the basis of a delivered design. Every order is approached comprehensively –

we prepare the design, buy the materials, produce the item, and if necessary we provide author’s supervision and technical support.

How do I order?

Orders can be made by e-mail. Upon agreeing of all the technical details, price and the orders execution deadline, we determine the amount of the advance for materials, upon payment of which we begin to work. Collection of the product can be done during a pre-arranged meeting or by sending courier to the provided address. Price of the vast majority of orders is estimated individually, so if you are interested in any of our products or if you have an idea for your own - please contact us.
